Fridge Cheesecake 🍮🫠🍪

A recent oopsie that proves I am not a baker at all (and that AI is not as smart). I had a little bit of yoghurt, cream cheese and whipping cream in the fridge, and needed to use it before it went bad. After turning to AI for a quick recipe, I excitedly got to whipping it up…and I think it is in there that I totally flopped. A no-bake cheesecake needs something to give it structure aka gelatin and whipping air into the batter. Two things I didn’t do. Hahaha! So when I cut into the cheesecake (while still in the tin) you can imagine my shock and surprise – although I wasn’t that shocked and surprised… The batter had no way of setting so it ended up being a creamy, sweet soupy mix with a crunchy base (top?). Augh but bless my husband, he ate it all up with a smile, even asking for seconds.

LESSONS: Don’t trust AI with everything. And remember, baking is a science, a mathematical art and fine-tuned cookery…you cannot just wing it LOL!
