Because who doesn’t love a good complaining session!?
The year end fatigue is real. And I wanted to create this post as way to let off some steam ahead of the busy festive season. And have fun doing it!
Join in on the conversation and share some of your pet peeves (things that annoy you). It can be as funny or as serious as you’d like it to be π
Name your top three pet peeves.
π«When people don’t know what they want to order
Picture this…you’re heading to your local takeaways…you join the queue…and think to yourself…”what’s taking so long”? You peer towards the front of the line, and see someone holding their chin, staring up at the menu, still deciding what to order and asking the cashier a million questions about the food.
This is my biggest pet peeve! Even writing this is making me mad π ππ I absolutely cannot stand it, when people go to order food and take up so much time in the ordering line, pondering and debating what to get.
It’s a different story when you visit a dine-in restaurant or shop for clothes.
But in a fast food place where they mostly serve one type of food (pizza, fish and chips, crispy chicken, noodles…etc) and make money off of being FAST, I think it’s just so annoying when people have no idea what they want, before waiting in line.
Rather stand off to the side and look through the menu and decide, or check the menu beforehand. And I know the employees are doing their jobs, but it grinds my gears when they ask the person if they’d rather like this combo over this one, setting that person on a whole different path of uncertainty ππ
π«Men peeing in public
It’s absolutely disgusting!
I think we can all agree: this, this right here irks us all! You’re on your way home from work or heading to the store for some hotdog rolls, and a random dude is whipping out his….hotdog…to relieve himself against a wall or tree — IN PUBLIC!
I understand that emergencies can happen. But I do not think that gives a dude permission to urinate on areas where people walk. And I’ve seen more and more men just pee, out in the open (because if it was in a hidden area, we wouldn’t have to see π), without a care for who passes them or where they’re doing it.
Just plain gross π·π€’
π«A stone or sand after a vacuum/sweep
Where does it even come from!?
I have a little thing where after I sweep or vacuum, I HAVE to walk around barefoot. It’s like a little ritual to enjoy the cool, clean floors.
But while I’m enjoying my time, minding my (housework) business, I’ll step on a random stone or patch of sand grains — and it just annoys the bejeewuz out of me!
How did I not sweep it up? Did the vacuum choose not to suck it up? Could it sense I was cleaning, and came around when my back was turned? π€π€π€
It’s one of the worst, and a genuine ‘fear’ I have every time I clean the floors and excitedly take my sloffies (flip flops) off π₯Ί.
Aaand that’s all folks! These are just my vents and my views, nothing deep. Thank you for reading and I can’t wait to see what y’all leave in the comments π
